The area surrounding San Vito Lo Capo can be explored year-round, especially from early June to late September. There are many activities to enjoy, from cycling and walking with our free bikes to picnics at Calamancina, about 3 km from the center, an unspoiled area with deep blue sea and stunning cliffs.
To make the most of the area, it’s important to bring water and wear water shoes. The trail is easy and suitable for children aged 4 and above. From Cala Mancina, you can reach the Grotta del Cavallo on foot, where a rocky and pebbly inlet forms a shallow, colorful natural pool. Children can explore and touch the wonders of the sea. Sunset is ideal for enjoying spectacular lighting.
Another unmissable excursion is the Zingaro Reserve, the first established in Sicily, where nature is pristine and children can enjoy exploring trails through the Mediterranean scrub. It’s a place that teaches respect for nature, flora, and fauna, while also allowing swims in crystal-clear waters.
