But let’s get to the 2024 event program in San Vito Lo Capo!

Let’s start with one of our favorites: the Festival degli Aquiloni!
The 15th edition will be held from May 22 to 26 and will have both adults and children looking up at the sky.

There will be extraordinary kite performances, workshops for children, music, juggling animations, and much more!

A beautiful moment of joy will occur at the opening of the event with all the kite flyers, each with the flag of their place of origin, together with the students of the Primary and Middle Schools of San Vito Lo Capo, and the schools of Trapani, Erice, and the Province.

Emotion and reflection on the anniversary of the Strage di Capaci, on May 23: in the presence of Civil, Military, and Religious Authorities, a minute of silence will be observed and only the commemorative kite portraying Judges Falcone and Borsellino and white kites in memory of all mafia victims will be flown. Passages from Giovanni Falcone’s books will also be read.

The celebrations in honor of San Vito Martyr return. From June 10 to 16, a busy schedule of religious and folkloric events dedicated to the Patron Saint of San Vito Lo Capo will animate every corner of the town with exciting appointments. There will be traditional games, parades, moments of prayer, and the unmissable landing from the sea, which, as every year, will end with fireworks. There will be plenty of fun for children and older kids!

Two months full of literary events are those within the program of Libri, Autori, e Bougainvillee.
The festival, now in its twenty-fifth edition, hosts internationally renowned writers every year who will reveal their latest literary works to the public. The events, in July and August, are still being defined.

Siciliambiente Film Festival. From July 15 to 20, a packed schedule of screenings, events, and workshops for children, all dedicated to social and environmental sustainability.

An opportunity to discover cinematic works from around the world, short films, documentaries, and animations, even for the little ones.

At the end of the event season in San Vito Lo Capo, we gather for two events that pay tribute to the area’s culinary richness.

The Cous Cous Fest, a world-renowned festival, is dedicated to cultural integration… at the table! Capturing the attention of the little ones are concerts with the musical stars of the moment, culinary workshops, and the chance to stroll among rich stands.

Among the competitions scheduled, there are also those dedicated to the new generations of chefs who will compete with their couscous proposals. Among the artists on the program, the first name is Rose Villain, who will entertain with her hits.

Tempu ri capuna, from October 4 to 6, is dedicated to the dolphinfish, known locally as capone, a fish that inhabits the coasts of San Vito Lo Capo and is the protagonist of many traditional recipes.
During the event, both adults and children can discover the secrets of fishing and taste delicious specialties.
