2025 Events in San Vito Lo Capo: Fun for All Ages

If you’re traveling with children, San Vito Lo Capo is a safe destination, rich in natural beauty and fun for the whole family.
Crystal-clear waters with shallow seabeds, a compact and charming town center full of flowering corners, and a sea of events all year round!

The 2025 events calendar in San Vito Lo Capo once again proves unmissable, even for the little ones, with playful and educational activities of all kinds—and the chance to discover Sicily in its most folkloric and vibrant spirit.

Events for children—and families in general—fill the calendar throughout every season, starting as early as spring!

Activities for schools and young people have already kicked off, with a focus on sports, but it’s the Kite Festival that officially launches our magnificent summer!
Starting on May 21, it’s a true preview of the San Vito summer.
The International Kite Festival fills the skies with huge, choreographed kites and invites children and teens of all ages to take part in exciting workshops. Surrounding the event, there are plenty of craft markets and live music performances to enjoy.

Inclusivity is one of our town’s core values: for years, the “Zero Barriers Beach”, completely free of charge, has welcomed people with disabilities, ensuring they can enjoy the sea in every way.
This also inspired the Zero Barriers Sports Weekend, which this year takes place on June 7 and 8—a weekend of inclusive sports experiences for kids and teens.

We especially cherish the celebration of San Vito Martyr, an event that combines the sacred and folkloric, revisiting the history of traditional games and moments deeply rooted in our community.
From June 9 to 16, you’ll see parades in historical costumes, performances by the local marching band, communal prayer gatherings, and a revival of traditional games that are sure to touch the hearts of children (and grown-ups too!).

New in 2025 is “Famiglie in Festa”, taking place on June 21 and 22: a family-friendly event packed with games, entertainment, shows, and workshops for every taste!

From July 14 to 19, the SiciliAmbiente Film Festival returns.
Several events for children aim to teach respect for the environment through short films, animations, movies, and interactive workshops. It’s one of our absolute favorites!

The long-running event “Bagli, Olio e Mare” also returns from July 31 to August 3, spotlighting the local food and wine scene in the villages of Macari and Castelluzzo. Even kids will learn about the value of consuming local products and the benefits of eating bluefish and other zero-mile delicacies.

And of course, we can’t wrap this up without a save the date for the Cous Cous Fest—the most famous and internationally recognized event in San Vito Lo Capo.
It’s not just about food or couscous—it’s a celebration of brotherhood and peace, values we need now more than ever.
From September 19 to 28, there will be cooking competitions and demos, workshops for budding little chefs, and concerts by internationally renowned artists whose songs will get everyone singing and dancing!
