This is the right page if you are planning your trip to San Vito Lo Capo or if you have already booked one of our apartments but are now organizing your transportation.
If you are traveling with children, here you will find useful tips to move around comfortably and in the safest way for everyone.

San Vito Lo Capo is a popular and well-known destination, but it is not a transit location: it is on the western coast of Sicily and can only be reached via a single road. This makes our territory even more magical and will not prevent you from discovering its wonderful surroundings!

Even though San Vito Lo Capo is located in the province of Trapani, Palermo Airport is a good arrival point, but let’s clarify things a bit.

Arriving by Plane

The nearest airport, about 60 km away, is Trapani – Marsala (Vincenzo Florio Airport). Palermo Airport (Falcone-Borsellino) is also convenient, even though it is about 90 km away. Palermo Airport is an international airport with many available connections.
Once you arrive at the airport, you have several options to reach San Vito Lo Capo:

• Rent a car. There are many rental companies, both well-known international brands and local providers. We suggest checking them all out on the airport’s website to compare offers. Remember the legal requirements for traveling safely with children: ask for child car seats in advance and avoid the risk of traveling without them!
  We offer two parking options: one free and another shaded parking area, which must be booked before arrival.
  
• Private transfer services. We collaborate with agencies and qualified drivers. This is a great option because it allows you to book in advance and have the certainty that someone will be waiting for you at any time, even if your flight is delayed.
  A private transfer service can also be useful during your stay, whether for a day trip or to visit nearby locations—travel with peace of mind!
  
• Uber. A globally recognized service that you can book on-site through the app.
  
• Bus. Some transport companies provide direct services to San Vito Lo Capo, while most buses stop in Trapani or Palermo, from where you will need to find another means of transportation to reach our apart-hotel.
  If you are traveling with children, plan everything well in advance and download the bus schedules from the official websites of the different companies.
  

Arriving by Car

If you are driving from either airport or another destination, here are the routes:

• From Palermo: Take the A29 highway towards Trapani, exit at Castellammare del Golfo, and continue along the SP16 until you reach San Vito Lo Capo.
• From Trapani: Take the SP18 and follow the signs for San Vito Lo Capo.

Once you arrive at Poseidon Residence, located near the historic center, you can park your car without worries, but remember to book your parking in advance and explore the available options.

Traveling by car, especially with children, allows you to break up the routine and explore the surroundings. Kids will surely enjoy visiting the historic center of Erice, diving into history at the Segesta archaeological park, or admiring the pink flamingos at the Trapani salt flats. Arriving by Bus

There are direct bus routes from Trapani and Palermo. We recommend checking schedules in advance, especially during high season.
